Providing Premier Test, Tactics, and Training Support

JT3 LLC provides engineering and technical support for J-Tech, the Joint Range Technical Services contract, enabling the operations of four of America's premier test and training ranges.

Our Mission: "Partner with our Customers to develop and maintain integrated test and training range environments by providing highly skilled scientific, engineering, technical, and support personnel. We help prepare our Warfighters for the missions of today while building new capabilities to meet the global challenges of tomorrow."

The Department of Defense (DoD) has merged the engineering and technical support management of several western ranges into one organization to streamline support for test and training customers. In response to this challenge, EG&G Technical Services, Inc. (EG&G) and Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) formed JT3, a Limited Liability Company (LLC) – dedicated to supporting Joint Range Technical Services (J-Tech) requirements. We are experts at assisting our customers and other contractors in the planning, preparation, and execution of test projects and training missions.

Each J-Tech range possesses unique qualities and capabilities, but all contribute to the development and testing of new warfighting equipment, developing and refining the tactics to successfully employ that equipment, and training the warfighter to use the equipment and tactics to dominate the battle space. This is also a joint effort with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. We have captured the thrust and spirit of this new J-Tech initiative and we firmly believe we are the best choice to partner with the Air Force and the Navy to make this bold initiative a reality.

The J-Tech program was established in 2001 for operations across four western ranges: the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.; Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) at Nellis AFB, Nev.; Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) at Hill AFB, Utah; and the Electronic Combat Range (ECR) at the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, Calif.
